The Niger delta has been sacrificed because of careless operations, sacrificing safety procedures. Shell blames sabotage from locals for these leaks and spills. The result of the survey I have conducted in Shell Nigeria reveal: production pressures, lack of training, cheap contractors, budget constraints etc. 40% of the workplace said you do not have enough adequate workforce to do process safety work. Pollution of Niger delta is caused by willful neglect by Shell as well. Can you say that your shareholders want to dabble in what is effectively blood money? Why do you withhold funding to your own assets that will be able to operate them safely and properly to prevent leaks and spills?

hy has Shell sold its shares to a Western Australian company a few weeks ago? Here partly on behalf of traditional owners living close to North West Shell Projects. This facility is eroding sacred rock art that is 40,000 years old. Would you commit to wind down project when current fields dry up?
