Against a backdrop of profound crises, the production model driven by sales and profit growth is out of breath. Infinite material growth in a finite world is an obvious aberration, particularly in terms of environmental impact. We therefore need to rethink the way we produce added value, and integrate the notions of circular economy, functionality and knowledge. This will involve a phase of profound change, and will require a great deal of consultation and collective intelligence. For the CFDT, this will require a necessary change in corporate governance, involving stakeholders more fully in the construction of the new model. 27. What do you think of this vision? Do you think that employee representatives and other stakeholders can be more clearly integrated into governance bodies? Do you think new governance bodies such as shadow boards are needed?
